The warmth lasts for approximately 1 hour in a ski and snowboard boot. Microwave time ranges from twenty seconds to two minutes depending on the microwave. Nylon pouch filled with specialty sand that will never smell or dry out! May not be compatible with aftermarket boot liners. Do not put in boot if warmer is too hot to handle comfortably.
